Description

Urdu, Persian render themselves to very beautiful calligraphy. Koranic Calligraphy near Ashtur, Bidar, in Karnataka, India.

A fellow deviant and friend Umer [link] at my request has tried to recognise this Koranic inscription and identified as the most famous verse of Koran called "The Verse of the Throne" or "Ayat al Kursi". Kursi is Persian word for chair or throne.

To quote Umer:

the top to rows are "ayat-ul-kursi" (The Verse of the The Throne) and its the longest verse in the Quran..

this is its translation: there is no other god besides Him, the Living, the Eternal. Never a moment of unawareness or slumber overtakes Him. To Him belongs everything in the heavens and everything on earth. Who could intercede with Him, except in accordance with His will? He knows their past, and their future. No one attains any knowledge, except as He wills. His dominion encompasses the heavens and the earth, and ruling them never burdens Him. He is the Most High, the Great.

and in that round thing, i can only read "muhammad" written, but i'm guessing it says "muhammadurrasoolallah" 4 times which means Muhammad is the Prophet of Allah.
